Veiled Mystique

Shrouded in veils of chimera,
Hued in violets and green,
Trapped in past delusion
Paused inside an explosion
Encased in waves of sublime

Pain reaching throughout epics,
Glistening from beginning to end
Merging into each other,
Hollowed in an ambiguity
Misplaced in delineations of time

A stroke…
Drowned in sensuality,
Sparking shivers
Succumbing to desire,
You wantonly engage,
Pulling away
From inside your soul

Tracing our fingers
Slowly across skin,
Melting into passions of fire,
Kneeling to our destiny
Merging into a divide…
Flowing upon central control
Taking without permission
What is not yours

Turn your insides out,
Flip your sense of reality
Reaching past a taught morality,
As you gasp for breathe…
Violence begetting violence

Swirl your soul into a dream,
Dive past inhibitions of mystique
While embracing your internal nature
Weeping your tears in a forgotten lake

Rising its elevation and swell,
Pooling your sadness and passion,
Letting it abscond from your mind
Leaving you a simpleton…
Unable to reach,
Unable to find,
Forever hidden
Behind walls,
Shrouded by
Veils of Mystique
